100 In The Fast Lane

Well, that folks was a really long break, no?

You know sometimes your life falls in to pieces. You pick them back up, start to move on and then all of a sudden your struck by lightening. So you recover from that and all of a sudden you stumble into the next ditch. Which of course is harder and more difficult to climb out and recover then the trial before. Then when you think you have passed all the trouble, trials and tribulations, you hit rock bottom. You live there wondering what the hell your going to do. You feel bad for yourself. Instead of moving on, you sulk and feel like life has conspired against you.

Yep, that my dears was me. Over the past couple months I have learned hard, hard lessons on how living my life especially with the people in it could no longer go on. I was tired, I was trying to impress and make people happy. I thought that’s what I had to do to be happy.

Then the hardest lesson of all came along. Some people that come into your life have an expiration date. You don’t know who and you don’t know when but there will come a time where your realize life is going in this direction, and your not ready to come. That was the hardest lesson for me to learn. I had to learn that my life regardless of how bad or good it was, certain people just couldn’t go any further. It broke me. I didn’t know how I would go on….

But look at me know back here, writing to you lovely folks. I’m living and doing all kinds of crazy fun things to share with you. Its been a hard few months. It kicked my ass but I’m back!

5 Ways To Help A Friend Struggling With Mental Health

Mental illness is often times a hard thing to help someone with. You can’t see it, there are no tubes attached, no hair loss, often times the person looks perfectly fine. That’s the trick of an invisible illness, and it makes it difficult to see when the cracks appear, or to remember that there are cracks at all. If you’re reading this post with someone in mind, I’m glad that you’re the kind of friend that cares enough to research. If you’re not, then consider yourself a friend and read on anyway. The following five tips are going to sound generic. Everyone says it, it’s everywhere. But I want you to read them differently this time. See them as action words, imagine yourself doing them. Because I can promise you, that as a mentally ill person myself, these are the exact things that I wish people would do for me.

  1. Listen

I don’t mean “hear what the person is saying”. And I also don’t mean “figure out some advice by the time they’re finished”. Just listen. Listen to the words they say. Examine whether they’re overflowing with sentences, just tumbling out over and over and bumping into each other. Or whether they can hardly reply at all. One word sentences. Listen to their tone. Are they expressing suicidal thoughts, but they sound happy? Listen to their cries. And listen for as long as it takes. Two hours of tears later, listen as the sobbing becomes a meek whimper. Listen for sighs of relief. Do you see what I mean? There are so many things to listen to. Give your friend (or yourself) that gift.

  1. Help out

I had a depressive episode once that made me stare continuously. No sound, just tears silently dripping. If left up to myself I would have starved to death. I had no motivation to do anything. It was my mother that fed me, physically took to me to shower and reminded me to drink water. Sometimes mental illness robs the person of the ability to care for themselves. It is at these times that you can show up and help out. Sometimes however, it won’t be so drastic. It might come as a wave of sorrow that lasts for an afternoon only. These are times when you can stop by with your friend’s favorite food. Or volunteer to watch her toddler who won’t be able to understand why his mother can’t make dinner.

  1. Encourage them to get professional help

Many people fear this stage. Maybe you do too. You don’t want to be too intrusive. You fear how your friend might react. The truth is that mental illness is an illness of the brain. Some disorders are milder, and you may find that trained therapists might be just what your friend needs. Someone who can help them work through the crowded attics of their minds, dealing with trauma etc. Other illnesses however will require medication. There are substances in the brain that are necessary to regulate mood. Without the right balance your friend will find it difficult to cope. The right medication can give your friend a second chance at life. A life that they might have previously considered quitting.

  1. Stick it out

It’s fun to be the best friend. There’s a sense of satisfaction that you get from knowing that someone needs you, and that your presence is a source of comfort. Six months later you might find yourself with patience wearing thin. Why can’t your friend just get over it? Why won’t they just leave the house? Why is everything about their illness? One year later you might find that thin patience has become irritation. You avoid their calls, and you stop inviting them over. I won’t lie, it is one of the most difficult friendships that you might ever have. I often find myself yelling at my friends for offenses I can’t remember. Sometimes I ignore my friend’s advice because I feel like everyone is trying to control me. It is not easy. But if you truly care for your friend, please stay. Show them that you are willing to be there through every phase. Through therapy, and medication, and side effects, and new doctors, and telling their parents about their illness, and being misdiagnosed, then re-diagnosed, and hospitalized, and failing a semester, and getting a 4.0, and getting married, and simply everything.

  1. Remember to take care of yourself too

The above four steps will drain you. (This is guaranteed) In order to complete step four, and find the strength to stay you will need to take care of yourself. If you are crying, this might not be the best time to give advice. Remember that you are their friend, you are not their savior. Learn to know when it is time you’re to call their doctor instead of stepping in. Please know that it is okay to say that you are not available right now. You are in this for the long haul, but this friendship should not this destroy you. In fact, (and it really pains me to say this), but sometimes you may need to take a break from the friendship altogether. Please don’t just ditch them. Explain that you need to focus on your own mental health. They may not understand, but it is much better to do this than to do leave abruptly.

Here’s the truth, some days you’re going to be so fed up of all this that you’re going to want to quit. It is times that like this that I want you to remember this fact: Mental illness is a real illness. It’s not a joke, they’re not pretending. This isn’t just a mood swing. I want you to enter into this friendship knowing fully well what you are agreeing too. A lot of these illness don’t go away; they will chronically plague your friend. That being said, the days won’t all bad. In fact, I’ve found that the mentally ill people that I’ve met are the most genuine, the kindest and the nicest people that I’ve ever met. (I should know, I’m one of them!). I hope that in trying to help your friend, you will find that you are able to explore your own mental health, and expand your capabilities for love.

Self Sabotage and Power of Mentality

Where do our insecurities and doubts come from? They begin in our minds as thoughts that we let fester. We have about 70,000 thoughts a day! If we don’t learn to constantly monitor and upgrade our thought process and mentality, we will endure a lot of self sabotage. We may constantly live in the past, worry about a future that hasn’t even come yet, or live in illusions, denial, and negativity. We may also find our minds cluttered with so much inner noise and chatter that we lose touch with the right direction we need to move in. Each thought is either propelling us forward or keeping us stagnant.

Our mentality is a program.

The mind is like a computer. Our mentality is the program that determines our lifestyle, habits and self-value. Becoming aware of the type of programming we’re under is the first step towards upgrading it.

The following have really helped me overthrow patterns of self sabotage that have kept me from progressing into the next level of myself.

  • First, actively decide what thoughts you’re going to allow in your mind. Don’t passively allow thousands of thoughts to swarm around aimlessly. You’re in charge. Ask yourself does this thought empower me? If it doesn’t, why do I allow myself to think it and authorize it? Do my thoughts make me feel insecure, doubtful or powerless? If so, why do I give them power? Make sure all thoughts inspire you to act towards your goals and visions. Make sure your thoughts give you direction and discipline.
  • Discredit all thoughts that take away your confidence in being able to complete something you set out to do. If you start thinking negative thoughts, know self sabotage is trying to creep in. Just take a second to reach for a higher thought. Keep reaching upward until you align your thoughts back into the positive. If your thoughts always point to what may go wrong or why something won’t work out, instead of what will go right, you will program yourself to be most comfortable in your doubt. Now you are bound to limits and boundaries that didn’t exist before but now do exist because of your thought process. This is self sabotage setting you up to remain stuck.
  • Once you’ve become aware of the limits in your mind, get rid of them. Now you will gradually start to grant yourself permission to think and act with a bigger vision and work ethic.
  • Understand no excuse is valid! If you want to accomplish something, accomplish it. Don’t allow your mind to persuade you with logical excuses as to why you haven’t started on your goals yet. Begin and stay consistent.
  • Don’t associate yourself with your present circumstance, whether they be good or bad. Always envision yourself upgrading. Let’s use the caterpillar and the butterfly as an example. The caterpillar represents our current situation. The butterfly represents our goal transformation. As the caterpillar, you don’t want to focus so much on the fact that you’re struggling inside a dark cocoon. You want to put faith in your circumstances after the cocoon, which would be the formation of the wings that set you free into the next version of yourself. Some people get so mentally trapped in their current situation that they mistake it for who they are and miss their shot to transform into something better.

Don’t be your own downfall.

You are your sneakiest enemy! Always know what kind of mentality you are operating out of. Analyze the ways we sabotage ourselves in our mind. Make sure your thoughts are aligned with advancement, not stagnation. And always evolve what you believe about yourself and what you believe is possible! Because we act in ways that align with our beliefs, thus making them true again. Reprogramming ourselves will not happen overnight but it is one of the most powerful processes.

New Year, New Me. Sort Of….

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season over the past couple weeks! I love this time of year so much but to be honest I’m kinda happy its over. This girl can only handle the hustle and bustle of the season for so long! My house has one more holiday ( Three King’s Day) Then we can call it quits till next year!

I’m positive most of you have seen the “New Year, New Me!” post all over social media by either family or friends. Some of you are probably thinking ” I call BULLSHIT! You aren’t changing a thing. Have a seat.” I know I was. I saw the cycle before not just in other people, but in myself.

The first week of your New Years resolution would go great. You would work out, limit social media, eat healthy(or whatever your goal was) and things would be going great. Second week still going strong. Third week was the “holy crap I cant believe its been three weeks” epiphany. Forth week was some sort of set back. Your in a rush and all of a sudden your driving though a parking lot, rolling down your window to the response of “Welcome to McDonald’s can I take your order?”  A week after that your waste deep in ice cream cake wondering what went wrong!

We all have been there at one point or another. Were human. But to be honest how realistic is a goal like that. A YEAR goal that you will do every. single. day. I racked by brain with this one guys because I believe highly in growing and having great goals to strive for. So I figured why make your “New Years Resolution” a year goal. Why not break it down into a many goal throughout the year?

Here’s  what I mean. If your goal is to start a blog, make that your year goal. But in the mean time break it down a bit more, create monthly, realistic goals. For example if your goal is to start a blog, goal one needs to be to start the blog. Sounds obvious but the hard part for most people is the getting started part. Someone could say this year I’ll start a blog and then start one December of that year. Well what good did that do? Did you learn and grow by reaching your goal? Did it make you a better person? I’m going to go out on a limb here and say nope.

But what if you approached it in this manner.

*January: find a hosting site, name and topic that you are interested to create blog.

*February: Write one post every week, join Facebook blogging groups to gain experience and advice.

*March-May: Perfect you writing, find affiliates, join groups to bring in traffic to your blog.

*June-July: Boost writing posts, get into a schedule to make posting more efficient.

*August-December: Find collaborators to guest on your blog, make sure you are putting yourself out there to boost traffic, try to write reviews for other blog for extra money.

You see! Inside one goal are other small goals. It keep you on your toes and doesn’t dull the original goal. At the end of the year not only have you completed your original goal but you have also grew, learned and pushed yourself. If you don’t grow, push yourself and learn what is the point of living and have really lived. Life is all about becoming better and living the best life you can live. For you!

I encourage all of you DREAM BIG and WORK HARD! Push yourself to your goals, don’t take no for an answer but make it realistic for you to prevent not reaching your goal. Failing is okay as long as you pick yourself up and try harder next time, grow the next time and learn from your mistakes the next time. Your a bad ass!!

Stay Gorgeous!!

Watch Out World Here She Comes!

find yourself and be that | quote:

HAPPY TUESDAY! It has been quite some time since I wrote a post. Partially because the holiday season is a crazy time for my family and I. I mean really who isn’t it  a crazy time for. Unless your one of those well prepared folks that do shopping on a timely manner. Guess who is not one of those people? Yep, hello that would ME! Every year I swear I’m going to do better next year. Yeah it’s an ongoing lie that I have with myself.

I also used this time to find myself a little bit more. When I started this blog I had high hopes for everything. Not saying my ideas and dream are not coming true but I started to let my mind wander and lost sight of what my original plan had been. While I think that woman are the Queens of multi-tasking, I was not yet at the level (I felt) with my blog that I had wanted to be. I started to try my hand at different things, straying away from my passion and original idea for Sangria Chronicles.

This holiday season and break that I took gave me better insight on why I actually started writing. It was to inspire other woman to go out and achieve goals, be the best they could be and not to limit themselves to a stigma society had created for us. I also wanted to show woman and men alike the power of makeup. Makeup is an art. Not just products that cover up blemishes and skin you want to hide. It is a way that boys, girls, woman and men use to express themselves. Giving them confidence to conquer the world and kick ass everyday. My six year old daughter has makeup and every time we take it out the glow on her face is indescribable. She feels amazing and like she can take on the world! Mission Accomplished!!

Pushing for what you want takes energy but is worth it in the end. Is there anything you did when you were a kid that you ended up quitting and now regret? For me it was piano. Now I'm learning how to play again after 12 years and am determined not to quit again. Allow yourself time to rest & take a little break and then go back at it once you re-energize. Rest data-recalc-dims= quit. /// SNAPCHAT: kellidav via @angela4design by @happsters: “>

Okay, now obviously not everyone’s passion is the same. But I guess the question would be how do you find your passion or yourself? In the beginning of my journey this was probably the hardest question anyone could have asked me. I have no idea. I wanted to be successful. That’s all I had. I had no idea how to make that happen, no idea what that would entail. Nothing, I had nothing. After a few weeks of trying my hands out in almost everything I realized the one thing I loved to do, was good and could grow with was makeup! I took that idea and ran with it.

It was one of the best decisions I’ve made to date. I now have the privilege to do makeup on wonderful people and the end result is always gratifying to me. I now have booked wedding, maternity shoots and engagement shoots. It’s amazing what you can do when you believe in yourself and chase after a goal that makes your heart happy.

So look within yourself, what is the one thing that you can not stop thinking about? Fashion, makeup or art? I firmly believe that if there is something you can’t stop thinking about, you are doing yourself a disservice to not try your hand in something related to it. So many people think that they can’t accomplish their dreams or passions because it seems out of reach. Stop that kind of thinking! Work your ass off and don’t let anyone tell you that your dreams are not in reach. You can be the only to reach them. Only you are in control of your destiny. Work so hard everyday. Set goals, crush them and make new goals. Have confidence in yourself to achieve whatever you put your mind too.

“Don’t let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.” — John R. Wooden #WiseWords:

So go out there my little gems and shine bright! Conquer your dreams, goals and aspirations!!  And of course always Stay Gorgeous my loves!

Christmas Shopping 101

“It’s the most WONDERFUL time of the year!”

The time of year when Christmas music is on every single radio station and crazy people are as far as the eye can see. I mean really what is there not to love?

Well you you are an anxious soul like myself you have already dreaded this time of year since November 1st. Not its November 23rd and you are one of two people…

A) You have started shopping or have in mind what you need to buy for the rest of the people on your list.

B) You have not a damn clue where to start and the thought of shopping makes you want to throw up!

Hello folks, person B here! But what I will say I have a few ideas for you lovely folks that are shopping to hopefully make it easier!

Holiday Palettes/Makeup

Every year makeup brands come out with their “holiday” items. This my dear friend is going to save your life. You may even want to put it on your own Christmas list. Ulta and Sephora usually come out with a holiday box. That contains many different shades of eye shadows, blush, usually a lip stick/gloss and liners. Its a one stop shop for the makeup lover in your life!!

07e5d26ea1b3987f2c9556d684cac7f1 28b8f3dbae010776372a06633a3547fb

Also certain brands may come out with boxes with 10 different lip glosses. Buying single lip glosses can get pricey. So having all of them in one box for one price is a steal!! They also have makeup brushes in sets too. If you are a makeup user you know how expensive the brushes get. So all of them in one spot of one price! YASS GIRL!!!!!

58deaf408d55765f4be4617a306fc0d6 f60cf21b20ff52276b024d1bc24c9278

You see there is no down side to this method!

Gift Cards

But its not a heart felt gift!! Okay I don’t know what is not heart felt about this gift. Its money. For anything you want. No returning, no re-gifting, no trying to put on the perfect face to mask the fact that you hate a gift! That person can get what they would like. I’m not seeing a down side. Well except one. Do not buy a gift card for a store you don’t know if the person likes or not. The last thing I want to do is go into a store I don’t like and try to find something to spend the gift card on. Just buy a Visa gift card. Promise the recipient will be more than happy with free money!

Shop Online

For those of you who do not like the long lines, at times rude people and the hustle and bustle of the giving season, online shopping is the way to go. There was a time where I thought online shopping took the fun out of Christmas shopping. I can honestly tell you, I DO NOT think that now. There is literally nothing in the world that can be more relaxing than finding all of your gifts from the comfort of your couch. Except having them delivered to your front door!!! Seriously the best!

For the MEN in our lives!

Okay so what about the men in your life. To be completely honest I have no easy go to option for that. They say buying for men is easy. I say BULL HOCKEY! Every year I’m stuck trying to think outside of the box and not buy the sports jersey that he already has in E V E R Y color. I also am trying to stick to some sort of budget because let be real, my name is not Mrs. Bill Gates. This mama is ballin’ on a budget! So then where do you start? Well I have two “go to’s” solutions to this problem.

A) Let them pick out a gift that they really want. Then you pick out something you think they would like or need. (ie: new under wear)

B) Have the theory of “you get what you get and you don’t get upset!” and call it a day.

So men, when you think you are easy to buy for. Think again you little shits. I think guys are way worse than any woman.

Wish Lists

The ingenious way to get people what they want. People make a wish list and email it to you! You then pick items you can afford off this list! Seriously, you can’t ever get a bad gift this way!

My mother in law stresses out month before the holidays about what she is going to buy people. This year I brought up this idea and I think for the most part we are going to do gift giving this way. It takes the stress out of everything in my eyes.

For the GUY reading this!!!

So my dear love. Have you already bought a gift? Is it a waffle iron? Or possibly a toaster? Or my personal favorite a new contraption for the mop. Unless otherwise told, RETURN IT. Like yesterday! We appreciate the gesture but we cook and clean all year round and buying us something else to clean up with or around really is not thoughtful. We love ya though!

Well my loves that my Gift Giving 101 for the holiday season! Hope it helps!! As always STAY GORGEOUS!!!

Monday Moring Mantra and Goodies!!!

Good Morning my loves! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. Mine was crazy bust, but with 3 kids under the age of 3 when isn’t it!

Currently it’s snowing in upstate NY. Not unusual for this time of year but 2 days ago we had 65 degree weather. So yesterday t-shirts, today the  pneumonia. Completely normal, yes? Anyways snow is just an indicator that my favorite time of year is on its way. Spanish people are late for everything, but Christmas is NOT one of them! Elf on the shelf starts November 26th and the tree and decorations will go up December 1st!!

(Insert happy Santa dance!)

Okay but on to what I want everyone to think about real quick. This weekend has shown me that we, as humans tend to be assholes. I mean I know I have been. Sometimes intentional, sometimes by complete accident. But the fact of the matter is you need to own it and fix it.

I think a lot of the time in life we hurt people and we feel like we have the right to defend it. Maybe so. Maybe we do have the right to explain the reasoning behind the initial moment of when we hurt the person. Possibly to clarify where communication may have gotten lost in translation. Here is what your no allowed to do. You are not allowed to tell the person who is hurt that you didn’t hurt them. But why you ask? Well it’s plain and simple my dear, because you are not the ones with your feeling hurt. Who are you to tell anyone how they should feel?

We are all different. Everyone feels, reacts and responds differently to things. So something that would mean nothing to you could mean the end of the world to someone else. And again still, you would not be able to tell that person, relax it’s not the end of the world! Just remember to be kind to one another. Our world has so much hate, so much fuel to generate more hate. Be a kind soul to all those you come across. You never know what it would mean to that one person.

Okay so this is the news a lot of you have been waiting for! I’m going to be starting doing makeup tutorials!! The first one will be a Thanksgiving makeup tutorial that will be posted by the end of this week. I will also be going LIVE on my Facebook page with tutorials and hauls. So please be on the look out. If you are not already please follow me on Facebook, Snapchat (liz_ortiz16) and Twitter @emilagros516!!! Also subscribe to the blog and get inside information before everyone else!!!

Lastly I decided to do a holiday giveaway! There will be 3 items. A makeup holiday kit (that I have yet to pick out), Lularoe leggings and a mug/glass! You need to like this post on my social media, subscribe and share this post on your social media! Simple right!!

That’s all for now my loves, STAY GORGEOUS!!!

Well It’s been awhile!

OH.MY.GOD! It has literally been f o r e v e r since I posted!! But I promise for good reason. Oh and my favorite time of the year is here!

Okay, so over the past week I have made a few decisions. For starters over the last month or so I have taken the phase “I eat like shit” to whole new levels! I mean like ice cream for breakfast status. Not cute my friends  and my jeans are beginning to hate me. So starting the Monday after Thanksgiving “Operation Lose Your Fat” officially begins!! I have created a meal plan and currently am in the process of writing and will post about it. Ill give you some clues though. It involves beach body workouts and shakeology!!
Next, I am venturing out of my comfort zone with a few projects I will announce December 1st. I’m super excited about it!! Also so for the first time ever my family and I are doing Christmas theme family pictures to create cards for!!! Pray for me!

Lastly, thank you guys so much for all your support and encouragement to go out and do different things! I never imagined that this journey would take me to the places it has and I can’t wait to do so much more!

I know this post isn’t too much and it is super short, but I am working on getting you guys great things! You asked so you shall receive!! Please if you have any suggestions on reviews you want me to do or tutorials please link below or comment!! STAY GORGEOUS!!

4 Things Holding You Back From Living The Life You Love.

So, you want to live the best life you possibly can right? But you don’t know how. Well, have no fear my dear I’m here to help you realize 5 reasons why things may not be going your way. Your job is recognize this, change it and then proceed to kick major ass at life!

This four letter word can make or break you. If you fear change or you fear of what comes next. You mind as well pack up your bags and find the next train to Sucksville! I’m sorry to be frank but fear is the biggest thing that keeps so many people from doing the things that they love.

So how do you conquer the fear? Face it. It’s that simple. You need to face what you are afraid of, look it in the eyes and say, “Bitch, I got this!” Get the I can do anything attitude. Once you get past the fear of doing something new, finding a new career or what ever it maybe things will fall right into place. Promise!

2)You Compare Yourself To Others

Dr. Seuss once wrote…

This is 110% true. No one out there in the world is just like you. Stop comparing yourself to other people. Just because someone on your Facebook page looks like they have the perfect life, I can assure you that may not always be the case. In our society we rate ourselves on how much we have, how popular we are and how many people like our pictures on Instagram. Not enough people value themselves they value more what other people have. STOP IT!

If someone you know know has an amazing car, travel all over the world and is living the life you want. Get off your ass and work harder for it! What is comparing your life to their’s going to do. Without a doubt the person that you envy busted their ass and still is busting their ass to become what they are today. They are constantly growing, looking for the next step to out do the one before. Staying up late working while your daydreaming about life. You can not be other people so stop trying to, stop comparing yourself to them. You can only be you, accomplish what YOU go after and be proud of yourself without feeling like you are in constant competition with someone else! After all once you get where your going it will all be worth it!

3)Lack Of Confidence

I have said this so many times but you need to be your biggest fan. Believe in yourself. Know that you are great before you even get to the point where other people know your great! People lack confidence for so many different reason but the most common is they don’t feel worthy. A lot of people think, well that person deserves that. Wait, why? Why do they deserve something and you don’t? What makes them so much better then you? NOTHING! That to me is an excuse. A cop out of actually chasing a dream that may be scary for you.

Have the confidence in yourself to know that you will accomplish everything you need to, want to and thing you haven’t even thought of yet! Don’t let people dictate how you feel about your dreams. Just because they don’t approve doesn’t mean they are right. Have enough confidence to say ” I get you opinion but I’m still trucking through with my plans.” Then use that lack of confidence they have in you, to fuel the confidence you have in yourself. The only person stopping you from achieving your dreams is you!

4)Lack of Motivation

Alrighty, you have decided to go out and chase your dreams down. You start off with a burning desire to take what you believe is your. So you are working as hard as you possibly could to make things happen. It’s a slow process though. Month’s end up going by and you don’t see the fruits of your labor. You are discouraged and put less and less work into reaching your goal. Before you know it your sitting in your ass eating popcorn watching The Kardashian’s live the life you want.

NOTHING in this life is given to you. You need to work your tush off to get what you want in life. And guess what? It won’t be easy! Your going to hit road bumps and have set backs. That’s part of the journey. But if you really want it and are motivated to create a life you love, nothing will stop you. Don’t let anything stop you. Your capable of anything you set your mind too.

I know most of us can relate to one or more the above categories. But it is solely up to you to create the best life. A life worth living. A life you love! You only have one life to live it! As always STAY GORGEOUS!

Chit Chat and All Of That!!!

Good Morning/Afternoon my loves! Hope everyone had a great weekend and is ready to have a killer week! Or just trying to make it through since daylight savings is currently kicking your ass. One day my loves it’s been one day and I’m all like give me back my life! If you have children gaining an extra  hour means

N O T H I N G!

Moving on to my weekend. Every weekend for the past few months I feel has been jam packed with all kinds of things! This year was the year of weddings. I don’t mean like one or two we had like 4 or 5. Adam and I were each in one a piece. In between all the weddings we went apple picking, Broadway shows, shopping trips, visits with friends and birthday parties. I’m telling you jam packed!!

This weekend we did go out to the movies with our middle daughter Guiliana to see Trolls! We had lunch, watched the movie and came home. The day was quite relaxing it was the coming home part that was a bit crazy but you can’t have it all right!

Trolls by the way was such a cute movie. I highly suggest everyone take their children too see it. The moral of the story is happiness is within you.  It can’ t be bought, you must create your own happiness. I think the part I loved most was the atmosphere. People were dancing in their seats, no one was shhing their kids it was just an all around good time!!

Sunday is football, all the football!!! We are HUGE football fans in my house. I mean knock down drag out, yelling at the top of your lungs, jumping for joy, crying in sadness fans. It gets pretty serious!! But that’s our relaxation time! Oh and how about those NY Giants!

So I know that everyone is wondering what the giveaway will be. I’m actually trying out a few things this week and will decide from there. It will either be something in fashion or makeup! Let me know you thoughts on things you would like me to test, review and giveaway in the comment section! If you have subscribed to Sangria Chronicles you will be the first to know!

Many of you have asked me to do YouTube on my makeup tutorials and vlogging my crazy busy life. I am happy to tell you that my YouTube channel is currently being worked on and I will start recording within the next few weeks! I project to have a video up my December! What I will say is that I have wanted to do YouTube for a very long time and honestly fear has kept me from doing it. That and the excuse that I don’t have enough time and I want to get my blog fully off the ground. Well there is no time like the present so I’m going to jump in with both feet and hope for the best! I will let everyone know when things are coming together!!

That’s all my loves! Have a fabulous day. As always STAY GORGEOUS!
